Bethany Building Project: The Dream House

Bethany House is growing so more young women have a safe place to call home.

For six years, Bethany House has provided a safe place to call home and a community of support for young women transitioning from foster care and homelessness.

Current House

Four bedrooms that are always full, two staff offices in the home, additional staff offices and group meeting space in separate building.

In addition to our four residents at one time, our staff work with approximately 16 other young women in the community at a given time.

Current Capacity

In six years, Bethany House has served 34 young women in our residential program, with 20% of young women returning for a second stay as they work towards independence.

On average, our successful graduates stay in the residential program for 18-24 months before achieving the skills and resources to maintain their independence.

The Impact of Investment

Young women ages 18-24 who transition from foster care or homelessness often lack stable resources for help with housing or meeting basic needs. By partnering with us in expanding our services, you can help ensure that four more young women have support navigating early adulthood and the responsibilities associated with being self-sufficient.

The Reality

Now, we are preparing for the next chapter.

Our vision is to build a new Bethany House that will allow us to:

  • Double our residential capacity.

  • Bring our staff and services under one roof.

  • Create a new home where young women can heal, grow, and prepare for independence.

You can be part of the story

Together, we can build more than a house.

We can build a place of belonging, opportunity, and hope.
