2025 100 Days of Giving
Make a House a Home
During this year’s 100 Days of Giving, we are exploring what it takes to make a house a home.
-
The Foundation
Every home starts with a strong foundation. Every young woman needs stability first, which is why our program begins by addressing basic needs for shelter, food, and housing.
-
The Walls
Walls represent structure, support, and protection. Young women in our program begin to build walls of support as they engage with our staff, volunteers, and local service providers.
-
The Roof
A roof represents shelter and protection from life’s storms. In addition to the physical shelter of the home, our residents and clients are surrounded by a support network that covers them when life hands them lemons.
-
The Windows
Windows symbolize light, vision, and opportunity. As our residents progress through the program, they begin to encounter new opportunities and possibilities they never imagined for their future!
-
The Door
A door represents new beginnings and transformation. While we love our residents, we are thrilled when they walk through new doors of permanent housing upon completion of our residential program. Our favorite part of Bethany House is our ability to be a permanent resource and support even after they “graduate” into independence.
-
The Heart of the Home
A home is more than a house - it’s belonging and community. Bethany House is built on supportive relationships that extend even beyond our residents’ graduation into living in the community. Once a Bethany House girl, always a Bethany House girl.

One way that we keep down our overhead costs is through the provision of our community! Here are some of the drives that have been done before:
Gift cards (most helpful in $10, $25, and $50 increments)
Helpful kinds of gift cards are grocery stores, gas, or general shopping like Target
Household items

For more updated and specific needs, we do have an Amazon Wishlist where we add items that are one-time needs.
